Audio is now up for our show-long Maurice Sendak tribute. I cried. You might want to have tissues handy.
So today, while I should have probably been studying for this week’s forthcoming finals, I went and volunteered my morning to the hunger run and returned back home to Harvard Square and killed an hour or so at Mayfair. This season’s rotary chalk drawing contest was pretty epic.
Now I should probably get back to studying. I may post more pictures. I’m gradually coming the the realization that all these resources and the city of Cambridge won’t always be at my disposal.

“Readin’ so hard, libraries tryin’ to fine me.” Based on Jay-Z. Possibly NSFW.
It’s funny. Only on an idle Sunday do nauseating thoughts of the future come to my mind. Of course one day we’re all gonna grow up. One night you fall asleep, still a dream-pursuing adolescent at heart, and then the next morning, BAM, you forget what you were originally looking for and settle. Why settle? Why must we fall short of the dream and be happy with it? Why can’t we sacrifice it all on the off chance that we make it?
One of the most heartbreaking things I’ve witnessed is the soul of an individual who has given up, someone who no longer is in pursuit of a challenging vision but has instead surrendered to the status of just getting by. Then there’s the people that don’t care if they actually achieve their dreams as long as everyone else thinks they have. Where is the satisfaction in living for everyone else? Really, there’s no better feeling at the end of the day than feeling exhausted after a hard day’s work.

You should probably do your research before you jump on the social activist boat. Sorry for getting all political on you guys. Back to our normally scheduled distractions.
Like earlier, during a game of tag, the person who was “It” was coming towards me and I shouted out “As Ghandi once said ‘Back the fuck off, nigger’”.
I feel weird.
I think this grasps my tunnel of reality best at the present time. Everyone thinks they know what’s best, everyone has an opinion, everyone has some taste of success that they wish to grace you with. It’s best to bite your tongue and listen for the occasional gem. It’s generally the small hints they give to complement their big message that help best. I’m aware the future is here and decisions must be made but can I please rest till tomorrow at least?
